Your job:

You build scalable, maintainable, and secure full-stack solutions for our SaaS product in the Life Sciences domain.
You actively leverage AI tools to accelerate development, improve quality, and make better engineering decisions.
You combine engineering excellence with product thinking and challenge what we build and why — with customer value as the north star.
You own topics end-to-end: from requirements and architecture to implementation, testing, release, and operations.
You translate business and product requirements into clean technical designs and robust, production-ready implementations across frontend and backend.
You make technical trade-offs with strong ownership, supported by clear sparring within engineering leadership.
You raise team-wide engineering quality through code reviews, standards, test strategy, and active tech-debt reduction.
You mentor junior/professional engineers and help establish AI-enabled engineering practices (e.g., for testing, refactoring, and documentation).

Your work environment:

We’re building an AI-first engineering setup that we actively evolve together — from specification to deployment. Spec-driven development is becoming our single source of truth, from which code, tests, and documentation are derived. You won’t join a “finished” setup — you’ll help shape how we use AI in engineering.

Tech stack:

Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL + prompt engineering
Frameworks & paradigms: SAPUI5 (UI5), JPA + AI spec-driven development, MCP integrations
AI & developer tooling: Windsurf / GitHub Copilot; plus: agents, RAG, vector databases
Platform: SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry)
Tools & collaboration: Git | Atlassian | Langdock

Your profile:

You bring several years of experience building SaaS products as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer and deliver features end-to-end.
You translate product requirements into robust technical solutions and communicate clearly and structured with engineering as well as product/business stakeholders.
You actively leverage AI tools in your day-to-day work to move faster and improve quality (e.g., for testing, refactoring, debugging, and documentation).
You have strong software engineering and architecture skills (system design, scalability, reliability, security).
You set a high quality bar: testing, clean releases, monitoring/operational readiness, and long-term maintainability are part of your default.
You are confident in German and English, and ideally bring experience in the Life Sciences domain or other regulated environments.
